In North Carolina, Democrat Cheri Beasley leads Ted Budd 54.83% to 43.51%, with 37% of the vote counted.
Representative Marjorie Taylor-Greene (R) wins re-election to the U.S. House in Georgia’s 14th Congressional District.
Florida Senator Marco Rubio is outpacing Democrats challenger Val Demings by 54.83% vs. 44.06%, with 67% of the vote counted.
Numerous outlets predict Republican Gov. Mike DeWine will win reelection in Ohio.
Senate races have been called for the GOP in South Carolina, Kentucky, and Indiana.
Polls have now closed in North Carolina, Ohio, and West Virginia.
Governor Ron DeSantis of Florida takes an early lead against Democrat challenger Charlie Crist: 51.76% vs. 47.61%. Notably, at present, Miami Dade appears to be trending red.
Fox and CNN have both called South Carolina for Republican incumbent Senator Tim Scott.
The RNC is joining a Republican coalition to file an emergency motion to extend poll hours in Maricopa County because voting machines in over 25% of voting locations have experienced significant issues. (1/3)

A number of locations around the country are reporting issues with voting tabulators; some polling stations have been granted extended voting times as a result.
The first election result of the day comes in from Guam, where voters backed James Moylan (R) over Judi Won Pat (D) to win the race to be Guam’s non-voting delegate to Congress. Guam has not returned a Republican since 1993. As reported by Guam Pacific Daily News, “Moylan earned 52.19% of the votes counted to Won Pat’s 47.15%.”
Former President Donald Trump unleashed on the internet when reports of voting machine malfunctions in Arizona swept the internet. “Can this possibly be true when a vast majority of Republicans waited for today to Vote? Here we go again? The people will not stand for it!!!” Trump wrote on his TruthSocial platform.
