The US Supreme Court does not allow videotaping, but it produces audio of oral arguments. Liberty Nation believes you should hear all the proceedings without the spin. As such, here are the oral arguments in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization in full. The case is poised to overturn Roe v. Wade, according to the unprecedented leak of a draft opinion.
These arguments were made before the Court on Dec. 1, 2021. The Court took the case to settle the question: “Whether all pre-viability prohibitions on elective abortions are unconstitutional.”
First up was Mississippi Solicitor General Scott Stewart arguing against Roe and in favor of the Mississippi law being challenged. Next, at 44:30, Julie Rikelman, senior director of the Center for Reproductive Rights, argued against Mississippi’s restrictions to maintain Roe and its legacy. Finally, at 1:23:00, U.S. Solicitor General Elizabeth Prelogar presented the Biden administration’s argument in favor of Roe.
